Our Health Centers
Tri-County Family Medicine Health Centers
Tri-County Family Medicine has served the New York State communities south of Rochester since 1972. Our founding physicians (including Paul Frame, M.D., and Norm Wetterau, M.D.,) have been nationally recognized leaders in academic and clinical family medicine since the inception of the discipline.
We continue our organization’s tradition of clinical excellence by offering family medicine, pediatric and obstetrical care to the residents of our region.
Family Medicine is the medical specialty that provides primary care for people of all ages and stages of life.
We offer prenatal, obstetric, post-partum and well-child care for growing families. Our care for your newborn includes the hospital setting, with newborn care and counseling provided for mother and family.
Regular well-baby visits and immunizations are scheduled during the first two years of life. Our family medicine providers take great satisfaction and joy in helping babies grow into healthy adults and knowing the family and community environments in which their patients live.
Adult care includes the treatment of acute illness and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease, as well as emotional and family problems.
Becoming a Patient
We urge each new Tri-County patient to have a complete physical examination. The initial examination helps us get to know you and to plan your future medical care. Certain diseases can be discovered before they make you ill. Detecting these "hidden diseases" such as hypertension and some forms of cancer is called Periodic Health Screening.
Tri-County Family Medicine Program also has a health-screening program, which involves periodic checkups.
